West Dean を歩いた後、The George というパブに行きました、まだ夕食には早過ぎたのでお庭でしばらく飲み物を飲みながらおしゃべりしました、お庭の写真を撮り忘れて残念。この写真は夕食が終わって出てきてから撮ったので、８時半ごろだったでしょうか。
After walking in West Dean, we went with our friends to “The George” for dinner. It was too early for dinner so we sat in the garden with a drink and chatted until it was time to eat. I took this photo after the dinner so it was probably about 8:30pm.
男性２人は、「今日のパイ」、ギリシャ風ポークのパイ、コリアンダー風味。美味しかったそうです。
Both guys had “Today’s Pie”, which was Greek Style Pork Pie with coriander, they both seemed to have enjoyed it.
お友達は、シー・ブリム（お魚）、これもとても美味しかったそうです。
My friend had Sea Bream, which she said was excellent.
わたしは食べたいと思えるものが見つからず、バーガー。ダブルだったので１枚は残しました。ちょっとドライではありましたが、全体的には美味しくいただけました。（チップスはほとんど残しました。）
I couldn’t find anything I fancied so I had the “Steak Burger”, it came with 2 patties of burgers so I left one. The burger itself was a little dry but all in all it was enjoyable. (I didn’t eat many of the chips.)
デザートは、わたしたちもお友達ご夫婦もルバーブとりんごのクランブル、カスタード添え、これも美味しかったです。唯、かなりのボリュームで２人でも多い量でした。
Both couples shared Rhubarb & Apple Crumble, which was very nice but quite substantial even when sharing between two.
３時半から８時半ごろまでたくさんおしゃべりして、とっても楽しいひとときでした！
So we chatted from 3:30 until 8:30, we had a lovely time!
