今朝は雨でしたがお昼頃から良いお天気になり、その後は結構晴れてお天気予報から予想していたよりも良いお天気でした。
Although it rained in the morning, it turned out to be lovely and sunny in the afternoon, much nicer than we expected from the weather forecast.
今日の夕食は、Hello Fresh の「Put Your Feet Up Chicken Korma Traybake with Cumin Potatoes and Mango Slaw」（すごく簡単にできるチキンコーマのトレイベ行く、クミン風味のポテトとマンゴー・スロー）でした。チキンは腿肉で、塩胡椒をしてコーマ・カレーペーストを載せてオーブンで焼くだけです。ポテトは塩胡椒してクミンシードをかけてオーブンで焼き、最後にマンゴーチャツネを上からかけます。コールスローはマヨネーズとマンゴーチャツネを加えて混ぜて最後にロケットも混ぜるのですが、わたしはマヨネーズの量を減らしたいのでレモン汁、塩胡椒、オリーブオイルを足してマヨネーズは半量にし、トマトを足しました。味付けがシンプルなのですごく美味しい、とは言えないですが、普通に美味しかったです。
Today’s dinner was “Put Your Feet Up Chicken Korma Traybake with Cumin Potatoes and Mango Slaw” from Hello Fresh. Chicken thighs were cooked in the oven after being seasoned and topped with Korma curry paste. Potatoes were also seasoned and sprinkled with cumin seeds before baking in the oven. Slaw was seasoned with mayonnaise & mango chutney (we added some lemon juice, olive oil, salt & pepper and reduced the mayonnaise to a half) then mixed with rocket leaves. We also added some petit tomatoes. It was very simply cooked so I think a little on the boring side but tasty enough.
先週は、Hello Fresh のデリバリーが遅れて夜の９時まで待って、来なかったら翌日と聞いていましたが結局あちらからキャンセルされる、という事件がありました。何かあったみたいで、今日も３０分ほど遅れてきましたが、遅れるという連絡もなく遅れたので今日はちゃんと届くのかもわからず、また届かなかったら夕食はどうするかをあれこれ話しているところに届きました。いつもは大きなバンで配達されるのに今日は普通の車だったので、何かしら事件が起きたのだと思います。早く解決してほしいものです。
Last week, Hello Fresh didn’t turn up. We received messages telling us it was going to be delayed until a certain time, we waited until then but it didn’t turn up so we called the customer service and were told to wait until 9:00pm. We did but it still didn’t turn up and they cancelled the delivery on the following day. Today It was supposed to arrive between 5:00pm and 6:00pm but it hadn’t arrived at 6:00pm, no message to let us know it was being delayed. We waited for 15 minutes and still not here. We started to think what we should cook instead of one of the meals we had ordered, then it finally arrived. The delivery, vehicle has always been a large van but this time it was an ordinary car so something must’ve happened. I hope they’ll sort the problem out soon.
