昨日もですが、今日もとても良いお天気でした。旅行から戻って来てから良いお天気が続いていて、有難いです。気温は低いですが太陽が輝いていると気持ちも明るくなりますし、曇っていたり雨の日より同じ気温でも暖かく感じられます。でも、昨日お天気予報をチェックした時はこの先も数日お天気が良さそうだったのに、明日は雨の予報に変わっています。でも、午後からは回復するようですし、それほど降るわけではなさそう。
It was a nice and sunny day today, just like yesterday. It’s so nice that the weather has been so lovely since we got back from our holiday. Although the temperature is still low like winter, it does feel much warmer when the sun is out. Having said that, when I checked the weather forecast yesterday, I saw sun behind a cloud mark for the next few days but it now looks like it’ll rain tomorrow! It doesn’t look like it’ll rain much, though, and it’s expected to get better in the afternoon.
今日は、お昼前にチチェスターのネイルに行って、Franco Manca でサクッとランチをして（１つのピッツァをシェアー）、美容院で髪を染めていただいて、戻って来てから少しまた雑草抜きをして（度々しないとあっという間に育ってしまう）、明日の夕食を途中まで作ったら（手間のかかるムサカなのでホワイトソースをのせる前のところまでしました）、もう夕食の時間でした。
I went to a nail salon in Chichester this morning, then we had lunch at “Franco Manca” (shared a pizza), then I went to my hair salon to have my roots coloured. After getting back home I did a little weeding again so I can keep things under control, they seem to grow really fast when the weather is good. I then cooked tomorrow’s dinner – Moussaka, which takes a long time to cook, so finished it up to the stage where it just needs to have the white sauce poured over before baking. Then it was time for dinner.
ちなみに、ネイルサロンではドラマのようなお話を聞くことが多く、毎回のように自分たちの日々がどれだけ平和か再確認出来ます（笑）。
Incidentally, the stories I hear from the customers and staff chatting at the nail salon are just amazing, such a lot of dramas! Every time when I go there, I realise how lucky we are to have such a boring life – touch wood!
今日の夕食は、昨日のミネストローネが残っていたのでそれを食べました。本当はムサカにしようと言っていたのですが面倒になって、途中まで作って後は明日にしよう、ミネストローネも残っているし、ということになりました。
Today’s dinner was the left-over Minestrone soup that I cooked yesterday. We were planning to cook Moussaka (& Greek Salad), but I felt a bit lazy, so we decided to cook it up to a certain stage and do the rest tomorrow. We had the left-over soup so that was handy.
