Lyndhurstでの最後の日のディナーは、以前も行ったタイ料理、The Thai Forest に行きました。
For the last dinner in Lyndhurst, we went to The Thai Forest; we’d been there before during our last stay in the cottage.
チップス（フライドポテト）みたいに見えますが、海老トースト。海老があまり乗っていない感じでしたが、カラッと軽く揚がっていて美味しかったです。
These look like chips but they are Prawn Toasts. We thought there wasn’t a lot of prawn taste but they were very light and tasty.
お野菜の揚げ春巻き。これも軽く揚がっていて美味しかったです。
Vegetable spring rolls, which were also light and tasty.
奥がチキンのグリーンカレー、手前がポークのガッパオ。ポークのガッパオはミンチではなく、薄切り。適度に辛く、とても美味しかったです。グリーンカレーも（結構ヘビーで甘めでしたが）美味しかったです。カレーに入っていたチキンの胸肉も柔らかく美味しくいただけました。
Green Chicken Curry (in a bowl) and Stir-fried Pork With Basil. Stir-fried Pork was sliced rather than minced but it had the right amount of heat and was very tasty. Green curry was also very nice, although a little heavy with coconut cream. The chicken breast in the curry wasn’t dry like it often is, but very tender and moist.
デザートに、バナナのフリッター。バナナそのものはほとんど甘みがなかったですが、これもサクサクと軽く揚がっていました。
Banana fritter for dessert. The banana itself didn’t have much sweetness but it was also light, not greasy at all.
先日も書いたように、今回タイ料理は２つのお店に行ってみましたが、わたしたちはこちらのお店の方が好みでした。レストランの内装も落ち着く内装ですし、味付けも本場の味に近いように感じ好みの味付けでした。
Like I wrote the other day, we went to 2 Thai restaurants during our stay and we prefered this one. The interior is more like a proper restaurant and feels cozy, and we thought the meals tasted more like what we are used to in Thailand.
