今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Jamie Oliver の Jool’s Favourite Beef Stew （Joolが大好きなビーフシチュー）。奥さんが大好きなシチューだそうです。ビーフの他にバターナッツスクウォッシュ、じゃがいも、にんじん、パースニップが入っていますが、バターナッツスクウォッシュはビーフが柔らかくなる頃にはすっかりソースに溶けてしまっています。これでも途中で何度かお水を足しているのですが、出来上がる頃にはほとんど水分がない状態。

The dinner my husband made tonight was Jamie Oliver’s “Jool’s Favourite Beef Stew“.  It has butternut squash, potato, carrot & parsnip as well as beef but the butternut squash has completely disintegrated in the sauce.  He added water from time to time but there was hardly any liquid left by the time the beef was tender.

It doesn’t look that great but it’s delicious, the beef was fork tender, the sauce was sweet because of the butternut squash, and all the vegetables were delicious.
