ドロゴ城の後は、ダートムアを通って、途中、夫が大好きなパブに寄って、夕方コテージに戻りました。この辺りや前日行ったコーンウォールではクロッカスはもう見られず、水仙やプリムローズが至る所に咲いていて、マグノリアも満開の木がたくさん見られます、わたしたちが住むところに比べて少し暖かいのかなと思います。

After visiting Castle Drogo, we drove through Dartmoor, stopped at my husband’s favourite pub, and came back to the cottage. When we are driving around here and Cornwall, we don’t see crocuses any more but see a lot of daffodils and primroses, we even saw quite a few magnolias in full bloom. Perhaps it’s a little warmer around here than where we live.

ちょうど羊の赤ちゃんが産まれる時期でもあるので、可愛い羊の赤ちゃんもところどころで見られました。

It’s also lamb season, we saw some cute lambs here and there.
