昨日は我が家でのおもてなしでしたが、今日はお隣にお住まいのお友達ご夫婦におもてなししていただきました。去年の大晦日にお招きいただいていたのですが体調を崩されてキャンセルになったので、その時に作ってくださる予定だったビーフウェリントンが主役。サイドディッシュは人参、ブロッコリー、インゲンの塩茹でとローストポテト。そして、デザートはチョコレートトルテ。どれも、とても美味しかったです！

We had a dinner party with friends at our place yesterday, but we were invited to our next door neighbour friends’ for dinner party today.  They invited us to a dinner party on the New Year Eve last year but they came down with a cold so it was cancelled and they cooked today what they were planning for then..  The main was Beef Wellington, with side dishes of a mixture of carrot, broccoli & green beans and roast potatoes.  The dessert was Chocolate Torte.  Everything was delicious!

以前、お隣のお隣にお住まいだった方もご一緒でした。美味しいご馳走をいただいて、たくさんおしゃべりをして、とても楽しいひとときでした。

The lady who used to live on the other side of our next door was also invited so 5 of us were together.  After the delicious meal, we chatted over this and that for a long time and had a lovely evening.
