昨日の夜遅く作ったカード。ほぼスタンプを押すだけなのですが何度か失敗。手に付いたインクがペーパーについたり、スプラット（絵の具を飛ばす）がうまく行かなくて４枚もボツになりました（苦笑）。元のデザイン（https://www.pinterest.com/pin/164099980150820261/）に少しゴールドを足しました。

I made these cards last night.  Although they are very simple and should be quick to make, I kept making a mess – the black ink mugged, the watercolour paint splatter didn’t work, an image wasn’t stamped properly etc etc and Iended up throwing away 4 cards before completing these 3.  I added some gold to the original design (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/164099980150820261/).

シンプルなデザインは大好きですが、カードに関してはあまりシンプルすぎると何か物足らない感じがすることが多いように思います。市販のカードはシンプルなものを選ぶことが多かったのになぜかしらと思いますが、多分ペーパーの質がそれほど良くなかったり印刷ではなくスタンプだからではないかと思います。けれど、このカードは極端にシンプルですがとても気に入っています、スタンプが素敵で印刷に近い雰囲気だからではないかと思います。わたしのようにたくさん失敗しなければ（笑）１枚作るのに１０分かからないくらいすぐに作れるカードです。

Although I love simple design and would buy a very simple card in a shop, by some reason, I feel very simple design doesn’t look good when I make cards. It’s probably because the paper quality isn’t as good as the cards I would buy (even though I’m using the best available for card making) and also the images stamped and printed have different feel to them.  However, I do love these cards,which are probably the simplest cards you would make.  I think it works because the images of the stamps are arty and somehow have a feel of printed images.  Unless you make so many mistakes like I did, you can make one in less than 10 minutes.
