昨日の夕食は、スープとサラダにしました。スープは、何度か作って夫もわたしもとても気に入っている、モロッコのハリラというスープ。 Yesterday’s dinner was Soup & Salad. Soup was Moroccan Harira Soup – my husband and I love this one. Flower Class (A Table Flower arrangement )
昨日は、CARPO のフラワーレッスンに参加しましたが、今回は特別レッスンの「テーブルフラワーアレンジメント」のレッスンでした。丸いガラスの花瓶に紫陽花を沈めてお花をアレンジしたものがメインのアレンジメントで、四角い小さなガラスの花瓶に少しお花をアレンジしたものと一緒に飾ります。出来上がったものをテーブルに並べたのがこちら。 I took CARPO’s flower lesson yesterday. 今日の夕食は、お鍋にしました。甥っ子のガールフレンドはベジタリアンですが、外では多少妥協して出汁やフィッシュソースなどは大丈夫とのことなので、鶏団子も入れてわたしたちは鶏団子も食べました。鶏団子を食べなくても十分食べるものがあるように、今日はお野菜系の種類も多めにし、いつものレタス、人参、豆腐の他に白菜、しめじ、しいたけ、空芯菜、もやしも。足らないといけないのでマロニーも買っていましたが、その前に全員お腹いっぱいになったので使わずでした。タレは、ゴマだれにごまペーストやお醤油、みりん、唐辛子、米酢、にんにっくなどを混ぜたものにシャンツァイ、青ネギ、赤唐辛子、柚子胡椒を好みで足したもの。 Today’s dinner was Nabe (Japanese Hot Pot). Handmade Card (ZIG CELEAN COLOR Real Brush Pen)
ZIG CLEAN COLOR Real Brush Pen というカード作りの世界でとても人気の水彩筆ペンを使って、カードを作ってみました。６０色買ったのに、少し遊んでみた以外使っていないのです。紙は Bristol というこのペンに最適と言われている紙を使いましたが、使ってみた感想は、確かにスムーズに伸びて簡単に色を混ぜることが出来るのですが、あまり水彩っぽい仕上がりにはならなかったですし、色が鮮やかすぎて（その鮮やかさを好む方が多いようなのですが）あまり好きな感じではなかったです。カットしてカードにしたらそれなりにはなりましたが。。。 I made a card using “ZIG CLEAN COLOR Real Brush Pen”, which is currently very popular in the card making world. 今日の夕食は、夫担当。夫のレパートリーでベジタリアンのものはほとんどなく、パスタは先日作ったし。。。と、日本にいた頃に時々作ってくれていた野菜のパイを作る、ということになりました。香港でも作っていたかどうか思い出せず、シンガポールに来てからは一度も作っていないはず。。。ということで、この本だと思っていた本にはそのレシピは見つからず、もしかするとこれかな、とGood Housekeeping の料理本にあったものを作ることにしたようですが、どうも違うレシピです、この暑いシンガポールでパイ生地を作るのは心配でしたが、ほかに良い案も思いつかず、不安いっぱい（笑）。２人だけなら良いですが、家族とはいえ一応お客さんが一緒なので、心配で、アシスタントにつきました（笑）。 My husband cooked tonight’s dinner.
