今日のディナーは、日本風のハンバーグ。以前作った時に冷凍していたものを使いましたが、2つしかなかったので1つずつ。それほど大きなハンバーグではないので(日本の普通サイズ、かな)いつもは夫は2つくらい食べてしまうのですが、今日は1つしかなかったのでボリュームアップのために目玉焼きをのせました。添え野菜は人参の塩茹でといんげんとニンニクの蒸し炒め。ソースは簡単な赤ワイン、ケチャップ、トンカツソースのソース。今日は、ご飯と。
Today’s diner was Japanese style Hamburg Steak. We made some hamburgers a few weeks ago and froze 2 that were left over, so just one each tonight. They are not very large so usually my husband would have 2 of them but since we only had two we made a fried egg each – in Japan these “Hamburg steak” are often served with a fried egg on top in casual restaurants. The side vegetables are boiled carrots and steam & stir-fried green beans with garlic. The sauce is a a very easy and quick one made with red wine, ketchup and Tonkatsu sauce. We had it with rice today.
我が家でよく作るハンバーグは、ラタトゥユ風にズッキーニやナスやパプリカとトマト缶で作ったソースの中で煮るのですが、今日は久しぶりに日本風にしてみました。夫はやっぱり、ラタトゥユ風の方が好きだそうです。
We usually cook these Hamburg steaks in a ratatouille-type vegetable and tomato sauce, but we had it in a Japanese way today. My husband says he enjoyed it but he does prefer the one in ratatouille sauce.
