借りているアパートメントに飾りたくて市場で買ったチューリップ。
We bought some tulips in the market near the apartment.
火曜日も水曜日もアパートメントでのWi-Fiやエアコンの修理の方を待ったり、近くのジムを見に行ったり、スーパーで必要なあれこれを買ったり、お友達とお喋りしたりして過ぎていきました。
Tuesday and Wednesday were spent mostly waiting for repair guys of the wifi and aircon, going to a few supermarkets to get what we needed, visiting a couple of gyms nearby and chatting with our friend.
火曜日のランチは近くのマーケットで美味しい生ハムやフォカッチャやチーズなどを買って、おうちピクニック。
Lunch on Tuesday was “picnic at home” as we bought some delicious cured ham, focaccia, cheese etc.
ディナーは、お友達に教えて頂いた近くの串焼きレストランでディナー。トマトのブルスケッタ、ゴルゴンゾーラとグアンチャーレのブルスケッタ、グリルしたお野菜、ビーフの串焼き、アーティチョークのローマ風、ティラミス。美味しく頂きました。
We had dinner at a grilled skewer restaurant in our neighbourhood that our friend had recommended. Tomato bruschetta, Gorgonzola and Guanciale bruschetta, beef skewers, grilled vegetables, artichoke Roma style and Tiramisu. We enjoyed it.
昨日のランチはサラダと前日のランチの残りでした。
Yesterday’s lunch was what was left from the lunch the day before as well as a salad.
昨日のディナーは、今日の夕食はご近所のタベルナで。前菜はフムス、パスタはホワイトラグー(麺がもちもち、シコシコ)、メインはポルペッタ、デザートはティラミス、全部シェアしましたが丁度よい量で、シンプルですが美味しかったです。
We tried a little taverna in our neighbourhood for dinner yesterday. We shared each course – Hummus for a starter, Pasta with white ragu for the pasta course, polpetta for the main and Tiramisu for the dessert. Simple but enjoyable. €50 including a Carafe of red wine.
到着した時思っていたより寒いなとは思ったのですが、昼間は良いお天気だったのでまぁ暖かかったです。でも、夜になると急に寒くなり、昨日の夜からまた気温が下がって、今日は昼間に雹が降りました。お友達も冬物を片付けてしまったのに、急に冬に逆戻りしたとおっしゃっています。日曜日からは温かくなりそうです。
We were surprised how much cooler it was than we expected when we arrived in Rome. It was warm enough during the day as it was sunny, but got cold at night. Last night it got even colder and this afternoon we even had some hail! Our friend said she’d already put all her winter clothes away because it had been warm, then it got back to winter. It looks like it’ll get warmer again from this Sunday.
