今日は、先日書いたクルーズのレストランの予約が夜８時にオープンする日で、先日のように早めに食事を済ませて夫と二人待機していたのですが（笑）、９時を過ぎた現在も予約が出来る状態になっていません。いつ出来るのかわからないのでしょちゅうクリックしなくてはならず、疲れてきました（笑）。担当の方が１時間間違えたのかと９時まではしょっちゅうクリックしていましたが、これがいつまで続くのかわからないのでずっとするわけにも行かず。やれ、やれ。

At 8:00pm today, the reservations for restaurants of the cruise I wrote about a week ago was supposed to open and just like last week we had our evening meal early so we can be ready to make the reservations – it’s past 9:00pm now but they still haven’t opened.  After clicking for a while, we started to think “maybe they got the time wrong and it’ll be at 9:00pm” but no change.  We have no idea now when it’ll open, it can be tomorrow or later.  Getting tired of clicking!

今日の夕食は、ミネステローネでした。夫と話をしながら作っていたらいつもの感じに仕上がらず。いつもはポテトはゴロゴロと大きく切って他のお野菜が柔らかくなった時点で潰すのですが、今日は普通に切ってしまい、崩れるタイプのポテトだったので溶けてしまいました、とほほ。味は美味しかったですが、食感が残念。

Our evening meal today was Minestrone.  I was cooking it and talking to my husband at the same time and my attention wasn’t at my cooking, I usually cut the potatoes in half or a quarter depending on the size but I ended up chopping them too small.  They were starchy type and basically had melted by the time other vegetables were totally tender.  It still tasted very good but the texture was a bit off.
