昨日は、２週間に１度の刺繍の日だったので、お隣のお友達とご一緒してその前にアランデルの「Cockburns Tea Room」でランチをしました。わたしは、ほぼ毎回同じ、頃ネーションチキン・サンドイッチ。塩辛くもなく味は割と良いのですが、パンがドライで特にクラスト部分がかさついているので喉が詰まりそうになる感じです。ちょっと飽きて来たので、次回は何か違うものをオーダーしようと思います。

Yesterday, I joined the embroidery group in the afternoon and my next door neighbour friend and I had lunch before then at “Cockburns Tea Room”.  I almost always order Coronation Chicken Sandwich.  Although it tastes good (at least it’s seasoned right), the bread is quite dry, specially the crust, and it’s sometimes hard to swallow.  I’m getting a bit tired of it so next time I’ll try something else.

お友達は何か別のサンドイッチ（忘れてしまいました）とカプチーノ。わたしはガス入りのお水。お会計は半分ずつで、12.52ポンド（2500円）でした。

My friend had a different sandwich (I cannot remember what) and a cappuccino, I had the sandwich and sparkling water; we shared the bill and it was 12.52 pounds each.
