今日はアランデルを歩いたあと、「Cockburn’s Tea Rooms」というティールームで軽いランチをしました。この辺りでは美味しい確率が高いところですし、お店のスタッフも感じが良いので、アランデルで用があってランチをしたい時はここに行くことが多いです。ビンテージのイギリスらしいレトロな食器が使われていて、お店の中もレトロ。

After walking in Arundel, we had a light lunch at “Cockburn’s Tea Rooms” because we feel their food is quite good most of the time and the staff are very friendly.  They use vintage crockeries and the inside is quite retro as well.

 

 

 

お友達は、チェダーチーズ、青ネギ、サラダクリームのサンドイッチ。美味しいけど塩辛いとおっしゃっていました。

Our friend had Chedder, Spring Onion & Salad Cream Sandwich.  She said it tasted good except it was a bit too salty.

 

夫とわたしは、２種類オーダーして半分ずつにすることに。ブリー、ベーコン、クランベリージャムのホットサンド（手前）。「パンは焼きますか、それともそのまま？」と初めて聞かれて焼いていただいたら、焼いた方が食べやすくて美味しいと思いました。

My husband and I ordered 2 different sandwiches and shared.  Brie, Bacon & Cramberry Sauce, and Coronation Chicken.  We were asked for the first time if we wanted the bread toasted or not, so we tried toasted and I personally like it better this way.
