我が家の桜が咲いています！数日前はまだまだで「蕾が膨らんできたね」という状態だったのが、先日１８度まで気温が上がった翌日見たら、あっという間にたくさん咲いていて驚きました。パッとみるとかなり咲いているように見えますが、まだたくさん小さな蕾があるので４割くらいでしょうか。この桜は早咲なので、普通の桜が咲くのはまだしばらく先だと思います。

Our cherry tree (sakura) now has quite a lot of blossoms all of a sudden.  It didn’t look ready to start doing anything just a few days ago but they suddenly opened up after a few sunny days, we noticed it on the day after we had the very warm day.  It looks like they are all out but when you look closer there are still many small buds so maybe only 40% or so out now.  Our cherry tree tends to start have blossoms very early so I guess normal varieties won’t be having blossoms yet.

日本の桜も咲き始めているみたいですね。お花見、楽しみですね。

The cherry blossoms started to be seen in Japan, too.  People there must be looking forward to enjoying them.
