今日も良いお天気で、２４度くらいまで上がりました。今の時点ではこの先２週間、雨の予報はゼロで一日曇り時々晴れがある以外全部太陽マークになっています。本当に、今年のイギリスの春から夏は異常なお天気の良さ。一昨日の夕方と昨日の朝にまとまった雨が降ったのでポットやハンギング・バスケットにお水やりをしていませんでしたが、今日は良いお天気なので久しぶりにお水やりをしました。

Beautiful weather again and it went up to 24C.  At the moment the weather forecast shows no cloud or rain mark in the next two weeks, they are all full sun mark with one cloud with sun.  I don’t know what is going on with the weather in England since spring.  It rained enough on the day before and yesterday so we hadn’t watered the pots and hanging baskets for a while but I did today.

今日の夕食は、Hello Fresh の「Crispy Cajun Fried Chicken with Wedges and Spring Onion & Avocado Slaw（クリスピーなケイジャン・フライド・チキン、ポテト、青ネギとアボカド入りのコールスロー）」でした。チキンに塩胡椒とケイジャンスパイスをまぶしてから卵とパン粉（塩入り）をつけてフライパンでサッと外側だけ焼いて、オーブンで仕上げます、とても柔らかく焼けていました。（チキンにするお塩の代わりに玉ねぎ麹を使いました。）美味しくいただきました。

Today’s dinner was “Crispy Cajun Fried Chicken with Wedges and Spring Onion & Avocado Slaw” from Hello Fresh.  Chicken was seasoned with salt, pepper & Cajun spice mix (I used onion koji instead of salt), then egg, then breadcrumbs, then fried both sides in a frying pan and cooked through in the oven.  They were very tender.  It was all quite good.
