夫と結婚して２８回目のクリスマス。結婚して以来ずっと（多分１回だけ香港に移って最初の年にセブ島で過ごして作っていないかもしれませんが）（数回クリスマスの阿智になったりはしていますが）毎年夫がクリスマスのディナーを作ってくれています。わたしはテーブルを整えるのと、ターキーの詰め物（スタッフィング）とクランベリーソースとミンスパイを作るだけ。

This is our 28th Christmas together.  Since we got married, my husband always cooked Christmas dinner so he is an expert now.  I think we missed 1 Christmas dinner at home on our 1st year in Hong Kong, when we spent Christmas in Cebu but other than that he’s always had Christmas dinner at home – sometimes a couple of days later like last year and this year.  My job is to make the stuffing for the turkey, bake mincepies, make cranberry sauce (sometimes I miss it, though) and set the table.

１週間ほど前からシルバーのクロスをしていましたが飽きてきたので、白のクロスに変えました。シルバーとゴールドと白のシンプルなテーブル。

This year, I set the table in white, gold and silver – quiet but Christmassy.

このキャンドルスタンドは、香港で買ったものの１つ。今もお気に入り。ゴールドのエンジェルのキャンドルも香港で購入して以来、毎年登場させています。香港ではセンスの良いクリスマスグッズがたくさんあって、クリスマスの時期のケーキやスィーツなども豊富で、クリスマス前のお買い物が楽しかったものです。

I bought this candle stand in Hong Kong when we lived there.  Also the two gold candles in an angel shape.  There were so many lovely things for Christmas and also special cakes, sweets etc in Hong Kong, it was fun to do shopping there near Christmas.
