インド１０日目、ジャイプールでのランチは、「Samode Haveli」というホテルでいただきました。１７５年前に建てられた歴史ある建物だそうです。

The 10th day in India, in Jaipur, we had lunch at “Samode Havali”.  Apparently the building was built 175 years ago, a very nice place.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

インド料理の方が美味しいだろうけれど、夜はインド料理の予定だし、と洋食にしました。わたしはクロックムッシュ。全然期待していなかったのですが、これがとっても美味しくてびっくり。シンガポールのどのカフェより美味しかったです。フライドポテトもしっかりカリカリしていて美味しかったです。

The had both Indian and Western food on their menu and we thought it would be safer to order Indian but as we were going to have Indian for dinner that night we went for Western.  I ordered a croque-monsieur.  I wasn’t expecting it to be very good but it actually was delicious!  Much better than any croque-monsieur I’ve had in cafes in Singapore.  The French fries were also delicious.

 

夫は、ペンネのトマトやマッシュルームのソース。これもシンガポールのほとんどのイタリアンより美味しかったかも。びっくり。

My husband had Penne with tomato & mushroom sauce – again I think it was much nicer than any pasta I’ve had in most Italian restaurants in Singapore.  What a lovely surprise!
