Khao Lak Day 1


We arrived at the hotel around 4.00pm after queuing for over an hour at the immigration and an hour and half car ride from the airport. The staff is very friendly and smiley but there have been a few problems like not getting a reply to our email of some requests, not understanding English etc. I must say every time I visit Thailand I feel the service in Thailand needs improving.


We had dinner at their Thai restaurant. Fresh spring rolls of avocado and edible flowers as a starter, stir-fried pork with basil, minced chicken salad and banana fritters with coconut ice cream. The pork with basil wasn’t spicy enough although we asked them to make it spicy and the pork was chewy but all the rest was very good.
