Hamburg In Ratatouille Sauce


Today’s dinner was Hamburg (in Ratatouille sauce).  The sauce has a lot of vegetables.  As it’s said that you should avoid mince meat and my husband loves Chilli Con Carne, I have’t cooked Hamburg or Pasta with Ragu very often.


In the sauce I used onion, red & yellow pepper, zuccini, aubergine & tin tomatoes.  In the hamburg, there is quite a large portion of sauteed and pureed vegetables (onion, carrot & celery) so it is very tender.  I used about 70% mince beef and 30% mince pork.  Sadly, I added a little too much spices (all spice, nutmeg etc)….
