Carrot Soup And Goat Cheese Salad – and off to Japan


Today’s dinner was Soup & Salad.  Soup was carrot soup with curry flavour like cumin, masala, coriander.  Salad was Goat cheese & Japanese apple salad, I used pomegranate molasses in the dressing.









I’m leaving for Japan soon – on a 1.30am flight – and I’ll be there for a month this time.  My husband will join me for about 10 days in the middle but I think this is probably the first time in a long time for me to be in Japan this long, since my Mum was seriously ill.  Although one month seems long, I’m going to see a friend in Fukuoka as I’m flying in and out of Fukuoka, my husband and I will travel together and I’ll go to Tokyo as well, so I’ll be busy.   I’m worried about hay fever because everyone tells me it’s bad this year in Japan.  Anyway, I hope I won’t catch a cold or anything.
