Chilli Con Carne

昨日は祝日でお休みだったので、夫と夫が大好きなチリ・コンカーニを作りました。たくさん作るのも少し作るのもあまり手間は変わらないので、いつも多めに作ります。夫が翌日ランチに持って行き、残りは(わたしが食べることもありますが)冷凍し、お料理が面倒な時に使ったり、タコスもどきを作るのに使ったり。

As it was a holiday yesterday, my husband and I cooked dinner together – my husband’s favourite dinner, Chilli Con Carne.  Whether you cook a large amount or a small amount, the time to cook isn’t so different so I always cook more than what we would eat in one session.  My husband takes some for lunch on the following day, sometimes I have it for lunch and freeze the rest.  It’s convenient to have some in the freezer as I can use it when I don’t feel like cooking much or when I want to have a small amount for a tacos-like dinner.
