Hamburg In Ratatouille




As the dinner last night was such an easy one, we cooked Hamberg steaks in Ratatouille while the chicken was in the oven.  We bought mince beef on Friday so I wanted to use it as soon as possible.  I usually use a mixture of mince beef and mince pork but we had no mince pork so I made them with just beef this time.  They are cooked in a ratatouille type of sauce – onion, garlic, pepper, courgette, tin tomato.  There wasn’t much pepper so we also cooked some green beans (steamed then stir-fried) on the side.

There was 500g mince beef and we made 4 hamburg steaks and my husband had 1.5 and I had just 1.
