我が家のお庭に仲間入りした、ビンテージのベンチ。eBay で見つけて落としました。幸い、売り手の方が取りに行ける比較的近いところの方だったので、夫が取りに行きました。背もたれを動かせるようになっていて、どちら向きにも座れるようになっています。実際にベンチに座ることはなさそうですが、ここにベンチがあると良い感じなのにと思っていたので、嬉しいです。余談ですが、このところの良いお天気で薔薇も咲いてきました。

Our new vintage bench in our garden, my husband found it on eBay, bidded it and got ot.  Fortunately, the seller lives near enough for my husband to go and get it.  It’s a train bench and the back support moves front and back so you can sit looking either way – not that we would sit with our back to the house but it’s just a lovely feature.  I doubt if we would actually sit on the bench very much but I have always thought a bench there would look lovely so I’m very happy with this new addition.  Incidentally, with the lovely weather we had recently (except today), the roses are blooming.
