今日は、お友達ご夫婦とランチをしました。４月後半に West Dean Gardens でご一緒して以来でした。本当は先週、また West Dean Gardens にご一緒する予定だったのですがお天気が悪くて今日に延期、でも、今日もお天気が悪い予報で、あまり延ばしすぎるのもとランチに変更しました。「The Earl Of March」というパブレストラン。

男性２人は、前菜にトマトとモッツァレラのサラダ（写真なし）、メインにフィッシュ&チップス。

We had lunch with our friends to catch up with each other.  We saw them in late April at West Dean Gardens and we were planning to go there again last week but the weather wasn’t good so we postponed it to today.  However, the weather didn’t look good today either so we decided to have lunch instead rather than postponing it again.  We went to “The Earl Of March” in Lavant.

My husband and my friend’s husband both had Tomato & Mozzarella Salad (no photo) for their starters and Fish & Chips for their mains.

 

 

わたしは、ローストビーフサラダ。

I had Roast Beef Salad.

 

 

お友達は、ロブスター。

My friend had Lobster.

 

 

お友達はデザートにイートンメス。

She had Eaton Mess for dessert.

 

 

わたしと夫はスティッキー・トフィー・プディング。

My husband and I shared Sticky Toffee Pudding.

 

 

暫く振りだったので、ゆっくり２時間くらいかけてランチをしながらあれこれキャッチアップが出来てとても楽しかったです。

As we hadn’t seen them for a couple of months, there was quite a lot to catch up and we were there for longer than 2 hours, it was lovely to see them.
