Cheese Fondue


Today’s dinner was Cheese Fondue, which I think we haven’t had for a little while; it’s one of my husband’s favourite meals.  We’d forgotten that we’d used all the potatoes a few days ago when we started preparing the dinner, so we had no potatoes today, but the rest is the same as usual – Parma ham, salami, cornichon, boiled carrot, a large salad (tomato, onion, cucumber, red pepper, apple, Romaine lettuce, rocket leaves, raspberry vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and a little sugar).










Days are getting longer and it’s still light ouside when we finish dinner now.  The sunset was about 8.30pm.  It suddenly gets dark around the time when we finish washing up.

It was quite a nice day today but was quite cold when we were walking outside in the afternoon and it feels a bit chilly inside, too.  We turned off the Central Heating a week or so ago, but maybe we need to turn it on again!
