今日のお天気は、まずまずでした。でも、まだまだ気温は低めで最高気温２０度。夕方になると急に肌寒くなります。東京は異常な暑さのようですね。イギリスのお天気は悪いことでよく取り上げられますし、イギリスの人でさえそう思っていますが、個人的には暑いのが一番嫌なので、多少肌寒くてもこちらの方がわたしには過ごしやすいです。確かに冬はジメジメしてうっとおしいいですが、家の中は快適に暖かいし。

The weather wasn’t too bad today but it’s still cool, the highest is only 20C and it feels a bit cold in the evening.  It seems like it is unusually hot in Tokyo.  People often talk about how bad the weather is in England, English people themselves do that and I agree that it does rain quite often and you don’t get as much sun as in some other places, but personally I hate hot weather more than any other weather so I much prefer this.  It is depressing in winter but at least it’s nice and warm inside the house then.

さて、今日の夕食は、冷凍庫から出して解凍しただけのチリ・コンカーニ。美味しくいただきました。

The dinner today was Chilli Con Carne – the one we froze sometime ago, we enjoyed it as always.
