French Patisserie Lesson (Tarte Aux Pommes A la Cannelle And Cookies Aux Cranberries Et Chocolat Blanc Et Noix De Pecan

今日は夕方5時から、ズームによる今月のフランス菓子教室(Ecole de Patisserie Chez Haru)のレッスンでした。今日教えていただいたのは、

  • シナモン風味のアップルタルト
  • クランベリー、ホワイトチョコレート、ピーカンナッツのクッキー

I took French Baking Class of  Ecole de Patisserie Chez Haru  this evening and baked :

  • Tarte Aux Pommes A La Cannelle (Cinnamon Flavoured Apple Tart)
  • Cookies Aux Cranberries Et Chocolat Banc Et Noix De Pecan (Cranberries, White Chocolate And Pecan Nut Biscuits


This time, the preparation didn’t take me too long and the class finished in 2.5 hours, which is relatively short.  Both the tart and the cookies were delicious!  Both of them have white chocolate, which I usually don’t like, but here they acted more like sugar than flavouring so I enjoyed them.






At every lesson we learn to bake 2 items, usually one of them is a difficult and time consuming one and the other is an easy one.  I bake the easy ones now and again afterwards, but I don’t think I’ve ever baked any of ‘the main’ ones I’ve learned again, I always felt I’m not capable without the teacher’s support.  However, as I have been taking her class for a while now, I guess repeating many techniques is giving me this feeling that ‘maybe I can bake the main ones on my own’.  Hopefully I’ll give it a go sometime not before too long and see if I can.
