寒〜い！青い空でお天気は良いのですが気温は上がらず、昼間でも２度前後。今日はチチェスターのネイルと美容院に行ったので終わってから夫とランチをしてちょっとお買い物をしましたが、風が冷たくてとても寒かったです。

It’s so cooold!  The sky is blue and it’s lovely and sunny but the temperature is only about 2C during the day.  I had to go to my nail salon and hair salon in Chichester in the morning so I had lunch with my husband after I’d finished and also did a little shopping, but it was really cold when we were walking in town with some wind.

ランチは度々行っている、「フランコ・マンカ」というピザ屋さん。チチェスターには美味しい軽めのランチをするところがないんですよね。

We went to Franco Manca for pizza for lunch, we cannot find any good restaurant for lunch in Chichester.

戻ってきて、少しやり残していたお庭仕事をやり終えました。寒くて手が凍りそうでした。

After getting back home, we finished the gardening that we hadn’t got to yesterday; it was so cold that our hands were frozen.

イギリスは１１月でもこういうお天気だったりするのですが今年は暖冬でずっと気温は高めだったので、尚更寒く感じるのだと思います。今日と明日の最低気温はマイナス２度となっています、でも、時間ごとの予想気温を見ると０度以下は見当たらない、これ、しょっちゅうあるのですが、どうしてなんでしょう、不思議。

It can get this cold in November in England but it’s been quite warm for winter that it feels even colder, I guess.  The forecast says the lowest temperature is minus 2 for today and tomorrow but when you look at the expected temperature by the hour there is no lower temperature than 0.  This happens all the time on the BBC weather forecast, I cannot find any explanation.
