今日は、２週間に１度の刺繍の会の集まりがあり、お隣のお友達とパブでランチをしてから集まりに参加しました。今日は寒くなって雪かみぞれが降るという予報で、実際に最初はみぞれ、その後雪が降りました。と言ってもぱらぱらという程度。明日も寒いようですがお天気は良さそうです。

There was an embroidery group gathering today, which is held every 2 weeks and I went there with my next door neighbour.  We had lunch at a pub before joining the gathering.  The forecast said it was going to snow or sleet today  and it did, sleet first then some snow. It wasn’t much, just a little bit for a few hours, so didn’t settle at all.  It’ll be cold again tomorrow but it looks like the weather will get better.

パブでは、ベーコンとカマンベールとクランベリーゼリーのホットサンドをいただきました。

I had Bacon, Camembert & Cranberry Jelly hot sandwich for lunch at the pub.

そうそう、昨日のお庭仕事で足腰が痛くなるのを覚悟していましたが、忘れるくら何もなかったです。

Oh, I thought I would be suffering from some achy back and legs after gardening yesterday this morning, but I didn’t feel anything and had forgotten until later.
