昨日は１日良いお天気でしたが、今日は１日暗く雨が降ったり止んだりでした。お天気が悪いと家の中にいてもなんとなく寒くて、何度かヒーターを使ったくらい。室内は夏も冬も大体いつも２０度前後ですが、今は冬に比べて薄着してしまうんですよね。２０度だとじっとしていると寒い。

It was a beautiful day yesterday but it’s been dark all day long today with rain on and off.  When the weather is like this it feels cold inside the house and I used my little heater a few times.  The temperature inside the house is in generally about 20C all year around but it feels cold now because I’m wearing summer clothes, I guess.

今日の夕食は、ガッパオでした。イギリスに来てからめっきりガッパオを作る回数が減りましたが、やっぱり美味しい。

Today’s dinner was Stir-fried mince pork with basil.  We used to have this very often in Hong Kong and Singapore but much less often since we moved to England. It’s still very tasty.
