今日は青空が広がる眩しいくらいの良いお天気になりました。気温は低い（最高１５度）なので風が吹くと寒いですが、吹かなければまずまず。お買い物に行ったとき、わたしはダウンを着ましたが、まだダウンを着ている人はあまりいませんでした。

It was a very nice sunny day with a blue sky all day.  The temperature was low (15C max) so it felt cold with the wind but without wind it wasn’t too cold.  When we went out for food shopping, I did wear a down coat, though, as it felt cold to me but I didn’t see many people who have big coats on.

今日は、お買い物から戻ってすぐに久しぶりに少しお庭仕事をしました。大きなダリアが伸びすぎてたくさん折れていたのと、ジェラニュームの切り戻しが終わっていないものがあったので。動き始めると暑いくらいになりました。寒くなって来たのでペチュニアはもう終わりかな、という感じ汚くなって来ています。

After coming back from shopping I did some gardening, I hadn’t done it for a little while but many stems of dahlias were broken and there are still some geraniums that need cutting back.  I felt quite warm after doing half an hour of this.   As it’s getting colder, our petunias are looking messy.

今日は土曜日なので、夫が夕食の担当でした。何度か作ってくれて美味しかった日本のハンバーグ。なのですが、今日は合い挽きではなくビーフのみ。とっても美味しかったです！

It’s a Saturday today, so my husband was in charge of dinner and he cooked Japanese Hamburg steaks that he cooked successfully a few times.  He used just beef rather than a mixture of beef and pork.  It was very good!
