昨日のランチは、「Cowdray Farm Shop Cafe」に行きました。夫とお友達とどこに行くかの話をした時に、こちらもすぐにリストに上がったところです。大きくはないのですがファームショップがどんなところかを見るのも楽しいと思いましたし、カフェもペットワースの近辺では美味しい方かなと思っています。

Yesterday, we went to “Cowdray Farm Shop Cafe” for lunch.  When my husband and I talked about where we should go with our friend, we wrote this place in the list quickly because we thought the farm shop would be interesting for her even though it a small one.  Their cafe is better than many around the area, too.

ご覧の通り、昨日もとっても良いお天気でした。お友達の滞在中、雨がほんの少し（数秒とか数分）ぱらつきましたが、わたしたちが外にいるときには一度も降らず、曇ったり晴れたり、か、晴れでとてもラッキーでした。５日間も良いお天気が続くのは、イギリスでは結構珍しいと思います。

As you can see the sky was very blue and the day was beautiful yesterday again.  During our friend’s stay with us, we had some sprinkles of rain for a few seconds or a few minutes a couple of times, they weren’t when we were out and it was “sometimes cloudy, sometimes sunny” or sunny whenever we were out.

 

 

 

わたしは、BLT。パンはトーストしてもらいました。ばさついているパンが多いので、トーストしてもらった方が美味しいと最近気づきました。なので、美味しかったです！ただ、ベーコンの量が多すぎるので、ベーコンは残しました。

I had their BLT sandwich and asked them to toast the bread.  I find bread often dry in England and toasting makes it nicer and I realised recently I can ask them to do this for me.  There is too much bacon in so I did leave some of it.

 

 

お友達は、チェダー、ピクルス、サラダのサンドイッチ。美味しいとおっしゃっていました。

Our friend had Cheddar, pickles & salad sandwiches, she said it was very good.

 

夫は、インポッシブルバーガー（普通のバーガーに似せたベジタリアンのバーガー）。

My husband had “impossible burger”.

 

 

ランチの後、ファームショップにどんなものがあるかを見て歩いて、ペットワースに戻ってペットワースハウスを見学しました。

After lunch, we walked around the farm shop to see what sort of things they have, then went back to Petworth to visit Petworth House.
