今日も結構良いお天気で、しかも、この先、丸々１週間お天気マークになっていて、その先もお天気マークと曇プラス太陽マークがいくつもあって雨は１日だけ。このところのイギリスのお天気は本当に異常なくらい良いお天気が多くなっています。
The weather was quite nice today again and the forcast has sun marks for the next whole week! Even after that only one rain mark, the rest are sun marks and cloud with sun marks. Wow! What’s going on with the English weather?
ぎっくり腰はほとんど良くなって、今日は時々忘れるくらい、９５％普通になりました。再来週の月曜日から旅行で旅行中はたくさん歩かなくてはいけないので元気で過ごしたいので、引き続き少し気をつけつつ過ごそうと思います。
My back is almost normal now, I often forgot about it today, I would say 95% back to normal. We are going on holiday on Monday of the week after next and I really want to be in good condition as we’ll be walking a lot, so I’ll continue to be careful.
旅行に行く前に、ということで、親しいお友達ご夫婦とディナーをご一緒しました。行ったのは、チチェスターの Piccolino という比較的新しいイタリアン、わたしたちは３度目でしたがお友達ご夫婦は初めて。
We had dinner with our good friend couple at “Piccolino” in Chichester as we wanted to get together before our holiday, this was our 3rd time to eat at this restaurant but the first for our friends.
お友達ご夫婦は、前菜をシェアーされました、エビのプルスケッタ。
Our friends shared Prawn Bruschetta for a starter.
夫の前菜は、アランチーノ。シチリアで見たような大きくて円錐形でした。おいしかったです。
My husband had Arancino, which was large and triangle shaped just like we saw in Sicily.
わたしは、前回夫が前菜にオーダーしたグリルしたパプリカとブラッタチーズのサラダにしましたが、美味しかったです。
I had Grilled pepper & Burrata Cheese Salad, which my husband had last time we were there. It was very nice.
お友達のメインは、蟹のラビオリ。とても美味しかったようでした。
For mains, our friend had Crab Ravioli, which she said was really good.
ご主人は、カルツォーネ、これはまぁまぁだったみたいです。
Her husband had Calzone, which he thought was just so-so.
夫は、シーバス、美味しかったそうです。
My husband had Sea Bass, which he said was good.
わたしは、タリアテッレのボロネーズソース。前回より量がかなり少なかったような。。。ですが、十分でした。これはちょっと甘すぎるのですが、お肉が少なめなのは好み。
I had Tagliatelle with Bolognese Sauce. The portion seemed quite a bit smaller than what I had last time…. but it was enough. It was a little too sweet just like the last time, but I like the fact that it doesn’t have a lot of meat.
お友達のデザートは、パンナコッタ。すごく美味しいとおっしゃっていました。
Our friend had Panna Cotta for the dessert, which she said was delicious.
ご主人は、プリン風のもの。
Her husband had Creme Caramelata.
夫とわたしは、イタリア風のブレッド＆バタープディング。夫は気に入っていました、わたしはまぁまぁ、かな。ちょっと甘さが足りないと思ったのと卵の味も全然しなくてちょっと物足りませんでした。
My husband and I shared Italian style Bread & Butter Pudding. My husband liked it but I thought it was so-so. It wasn’t dry but I would have liked it a little sweeter and also I couldn’t taste any egg.
それぞれにワインを１杯ずつ、お水はガス入りを１本、食後の飲み物はなしで２２２ポンド（43,000円）でした。
We each had a glass of wine, shared a bottle of sparkling water, no tea or coffee after the meal and it was £222 for 4 of us.
いつものように旅行のことなど楽しくおしゃべりをして、とても楽しいひとときでした。
As always we had a lovely time catching up with each other.
