昨日の夜遅く、夫が突然、「あ！明日、土曜日だ！どうしよう、何作ろう！」とパニクっていたので、「じゃあ、わたしが好きなハンバーグは？」とリクエストして、今日はハンバーグを作ってくれました。夫にハンバーグをリクエストするのは３度目くらいかもしれません、以前はわたしが時々作っていましたが、夫が作ってくれて以来夫にリクエストするようになりました。
Very late last night, my husband suddenly panicked saying, “It’s Saturday tomorrow! Oh, no, what am I going to cook?”, so I requested Japanese style Hamburg steak, which is one of my favourites. This is probably the 3rd time I requested it. I used to cook it now and again myself but since my husband learned how I don’t have to cook it any more, I just request him to.
ということで、今日の夕食は夫作のハンバーグ。日本の味！付け合わせは、人参のタイム風味のアルミホイル包み焼きとステム・ブロッコリー。とっても美味しかったです！
So, today’s dinner was Japanese style Hamburg steak, it tastes of Japan and is so yummy. The side dishes are carrots with thyme cooked in an aluminium foil bag in the oven, and stem broccoli. Everything was delicious!
食後のチーズもいただきました。少し前に買ったコンテとブルー・シュロプシャー、丸いのは先日買ったカマンベール。どれも、美味しかったです。
We also had cheese – Comte & Blue Shropshire. The round one is Camembert that we bought yesterday. All very nice.
