気温は低めですが、今日も良いお天気になりました。お昼前に予約していたネイルサロンから出て、夫と待ち合わせていたチチェスターの街中に向かって歩いていたところ、カテドラルの前に人が集まっていたので何かなと思ったら、何かの撮影中でした。ドラマでしょうか。

It was on the cooler side but was very nice and sunny today.  I had an appointment at my nail salon in Chichester and, after I’d finished, when I was walking towards the city centre to meet my Husband for lunch, I saw some people standing around near the cathedral, so I crossed the road and had a look.  They were filming something, I guess some drama?

チチェスターでは、良く行く「 Joanna’s Boutique Tearoom」でランチをしました。夫は、エッグベネディクトのベーコン添え、わたしはいつものガーデンクラブサンド。夫のエッグベネディクトにはたっぷりのホランデーズソース。チップスも美味しかったですが、夫はほとんど残していました。ガーデンクラブサンドにはアボカドやトマトやフムス、ビーツなどが詰まっていて、かなりなボリュームです。パンは厚めにスライスされていますし、３枚なので。

We went to “Joanna’s Boutique Tearoom” for lunch.  My husband had Eggs Benedict with bacon and I had the Garden Club Sandwich.  My husband’s Eggs Benedict had a lot of hollandaise sauce so I guess it was quite filling, the chips were good, too, but my husband left most of them.  My Garden Club Sandwich is also very filling as the bread is sliced quite thickly and there are 3 layers which are filled with a lot of avocado, tomato, hummus and beets.
