昨日書き忘れてしまいましたが、もう６月に入りましたね。日本は梅雨が始まる頃でしょうか。

こちらは、今日は割と良いお天気でした。お天気予報を見るとこの先１週間くらい雨が多いようなので、急遽、お天気が良い今日、「Leonardslee Gardens」に出かけることにしました。本当は皐月や石楠花が綺麗だった２、３週間くらい前に行きたいと思っていたのですが、デボンに旅行に出かけましたし、他にもいくつか予定があったので行きそびれてしまいました。インスタグラムで見てみたところ少しは残っていそうだったのですが、残っていたのはほんの僅か、やはりほとんどが散ってしまってました。それでも、良いお天気の中、グリーンがいっぱいでお散歩していて気持ち良かったです。それにしても、木々はほとんどが石楠花とさつきなのでピークの時は本当に綺麗なので（去年行きました）、来年はピークのタイミングで行きたいです。

I forgot to write it yesterday but we are already in June!  It’s hard to believe that at the end of this month, we will have had half a year already.

It was quite nice weather today.  Looking at the weather forecast, it looks like we won’t get much more nice weather for about a week, so we decided to go out today and went to “Leonardslee Gardens”.  We would have liked to go there a few weeks ago, when the rhododendrons and azaleas were looking beautiful and we did talk about it at the time but we went to Devon for a few days and there were a few other things on our schedule so we didn’t have a chance.  When I checked their Instagram it looked like there were still flowers some left but there was actually very little left today.  The majority of the trees are rhododendrons or azaleas so the whole place looks colourful and beautiful when they are at their peak, as when we were there last year.  We’ll try to be there at the peak again next year.
