今日は更に暑くなりました。外の日陰に座っていれば心地良いですし、家の中でもただ座っていればそうでもなかったのですが、何かし始めた途端に暑くなって汗をかくという感じだったので、お掃除するのもしばらくしてはクーラーのあるお部屋で汗がひくまで休憩しつつ、でした。夕食も、食べる時はダイニングのクーラーをつけて、作る時と洗い物をする時はダイニングのクーラーをつけて扇風機でキチンに冷たい風を送っていました、明日は２９度だそうです。（ロンドンは３３度。）

It has gone hotter, 27C, I think.  It’s still comfortable to sit on our patio under the shade and not bad if I’m just sitting around inside the house, but as soon as I started doing something I got hot and sweaty.  I needed to do some cleaning of the house and I had to have a rest in my craft room (with the air-conditioning on) to cool down now and again.  When I cooked the dinner we put on the air-conditioning in the dining room and put a large fan so the cold air would be pushed into the kitchen, same when I did the washing up, and when we had the dinner we kept the air-conditioning in the dining room on.  Apparently it’s 29C tomorrow (but 33C in London!)

今日の夕食は、ビビンバでした。暑いのでスパイシーなものが食べたくなってビビンバに決めたのですが、夫に指摘されたように暑い中で作るのは少し大変でした。でも、クーラーのお陰でそれほど汗はかかずに作れ、食べるのも涼しい中で食べられて良かったです。

Today’s dinner was Bibimbap.  I wanted to have it because it’s nice and spicy and I tend to crave for spicy food in hot weather, but as my husband pointed out it was probably a bad idea, it was hot to cook all the components!  Still, we are lucky enough to have the air-conditionings so it wasn’t that bad to cook and it was actually quite nice to eat something very hot in the very cool dining room!

ビビンバは、妹が送ってくれたビビンバの素を使いましたが、もやしを足して、人参とズッキーニも足して、タレも少し量増しし、目玉焼きも載せました。とっても美味しかったです。

I used the ‘Bibimbap kit’ that my sister sent to me from Japan, but added bean sprouts as well as carrot and courgette, added extra sauce and cooked sunny-side-up, too.  It was delicious.
