今日は、お昼頃に少しだけ雪がチラつきました。すこーし積もりましたが、ほんの数分で止んでしまって、残念。それにしても、寒いです！クラフトルームも床暖房だけではなかなか温まりません。明日は最高気温９度となっていて、少し寒さが緩むようです。

It snowed just a little around lunch time today but it was really just a little sprinkle and stopped in a few minutes.  It really has been cold and my craft room doesn’t get warm enough with only the underfloor heating.  They expect the highest temperature to get to 9C tomorrow so it’ll be less cold.

今日の夕食は、Hello Freshの「 Honey Mustard Sausages and Homemade Onion Gravy with Spinach Mash and Roasted Carrots」（ハニー・マスタード・ソーセージとホームメイドのオニオン・グレービー、スピナッチ入りマッシュポテトとロースト・キャロット）でした。マッシュポテトはイギリスでは必ずミルクとバターを加えて混ぜますが、わたしはどちらも苦手なので何も入れず塩胡椒だけ、なのでクリーミーにはせずゴツゴツした感じに仕上げています。少しお野菜が足りないと思ったのでグリーンのお野菜を添えるつもりでいたのに、忘れてしまいました。美味しくいただきました。(ちなみにポテトは半量だけ使いました。)

Today’s dinner was “Honey Mustard Sausages and Homemade Onion Gravy with Spinach Mash and Roasted Carrots” from Hello Fresh.  In England mashed potato always has milk and butter but I don’t like either of them so we just added salt & pepper and left it quite rough rather than trying to make it creamy.  We felt there wasn’t enough vegetables so we were planning to add some green vegetables but then totally forgot.  It was very nice anyway. (We used only a half of potatoes.)
