今日、ブルーベルを見に行ったのは、すぐ近くの「 Lower Wepham Wood」いう森で、駐車場からぐるっとゆっくり歩いて５０分くらいのループになっています。今年はイギリスは暖冬だったのでブルーベルも早かったようで、半分くらいが終わっている感じでした。

So, we went to a place called “Lower Wepham Wood” to see bluebells today.  We walked a loop route, which took us about 50 minutes by walking slowly, from the car park.  It looks like the bluebell season came earlier than usual this year because the winter in England was very mild and it looked like a half of the bluebells were already gone.

何年か毎年行っている「Arlington Bluebell Walk」に去年同じ４月２７日に行って少し早すぎたと書いているので、やはり、今年はずいぶん早いんだと思います。残念！

We have been going to Arlington Bluebell Walk every year since we moved to England (except for the covid year) and last year we went there on the same day (27th April) and I wrote then that it was a little too early, so it must’ve been very early this year.
