今日は予報通りにお昼前からとても良いお天気になったので、軽くランチをしに出かけました。時々行く、ラスティントンにある「Fig.」というカフェ。近くにある駐車場はいっぱいだったのですが、カフェは珍しくとても空いていました。

As forecasted, it was nice and sunny from around lunch time so we went out for a light lunch to a cafe we sometimes go to –  “Fig.” in Rustington.  The parking lot near the cafe was nearly full but the cafe was unusually quiet today.

夫は、ベーコン、ゴートチーズ、無花果のサラダ、わたしはカプレーゼ・トースト・サンド。サンドイッチは半分で十分だったので、途中でかえっこしました。

My Husband had Bacon, Goat Cheese & Fig Salad and I had Caprese Melt Sandwich.  A half of the sandwich was enough for me so we swapped them after I had the first half.

帰りに街の本屋さんに必ず寄ります。わたしはいつもお料理の本を見て良さそうなのがあったら写真を撮っておいて買うことにしたらAmazonでオーダーしてしまうのですが、いつもそれだと申し訳ないなと思っていたので今日は本を１冊書いました。Amazonの方が安いんですが。そして、ちょろっと入ってみたお店に良い感じのバッグがあったので、バッグも買ってもらいました、イェイ！

After lunch we always go to the book shop in the town.  I usually just browse cookery books, take photos of the covers so I can order on Amazon when I decide to buy one as they are quite a lot cheaper on Amazon but I was feeling guilty for that so I did buy a cookery book today.  We also went in a little shop near the car park and saw one bag I liked – so my husband bought it for me.  Yay!
