Pasta with Beef & Mushroom Ragù


The dinner on Tuesday was Pasta with Beef & Mushroom Ragu.  The sauce is what my friend who is a chef showed me – but I change here and there.  I often make extra and freeze it as it freezes well.  Basically it’s very much like Bolognese sauce but with much less minced beef and with a lot of mushrooms and some dried porcini.  The pasta package says “Rigatoni” but it’s much bigger than usual rigatoni.
