水彩絵の具で遊んでいます。（フォトショップエレメンツが使えずiPhotoで編集したので今ひとつ使い方がわかっていず、暗い画像になっています。）

I’ve been making a few charts of the watercolour paints I have.  (I cannot make my Photoshop Elements work, so I used iPhoto – I’m not familiar with iPhoto so these photos look too dark…)

手持ちのウィンザー＆ニュートンやホルベインの絵の具の色チャートを作ったり、色のミキシングのチャートを作ったり。

ウィンザー＆ニュートンの１７色を選んでミキシングのチャートを作ってみましたが、色が多すぎて大変でした。それに、１マスが小さすぎてイマイチ色の具合もわからないし。。。欲張りすぎました。

first I made a mixing chart of 17 colours of Windsor & Newton – but it was so tedious!  I chose too many colours for the size of the paper, each square is too small to get the real feel of each colour.

I enjoyed making these charts, though – much easier and more fun.  The top is Windsor and Newton’s and the bottom is Holbain’s.

色見本のようなチャートを作るのは楽しかったです。

Then I made this chart with 3 different yellow and 6 different blue of Winsor & Newton.  With just 9 colours you can make endless numbers of different colours.  Although it’s not a surprise theoretically, it still surprises you when you actually see all the different colours.

そして、２色を混ぜる時に混ぜる量を変えて作ったチャート。ブル−６色と黄色３色の組み合わせで無限に色が作れます。理屈ではわかっていても実際に作ってみると、それぞれ少しずつ色が違うのに驚いてしまいます。

本当は６色を使ったカラーホイール作りたいのですが（昔からある３原色に３色加えて６色）、基本の色が足りていないので作れず、オーダーが届くのを待っているところです。

I want to make 6 colour wheel but I don’t have all the right 6 colours so I’m waiting for some to be delivered.
