Easter Monday today, the weather is still beautiful.
今日のランチは、ピアディーナというフラットブレッドにトマトペーストを少し、玉ねぎ、生ハム、トマト、チーズを乗せてもう1枚重ね、フライパンで外はカリッと、中はチーズが溶けるまで両面焼いたケサディヤのイタリア版みたいなもの。熱々のチーズやトマトが飛び出て来るので火傷に注意ですが美味しかったです。かなり大きなピアディーナなので夫と半分ずつ、この後リンゴも半分ずつ食べて丁度良い量でした。
For lunch today, I made something like quesadillas but an Italian version. On a piece of piadina I spread some tomato paste here and there, scattered some slices of onion, sliced pieces of tomato, cured ham and cheese, plus a little salt and pepper and put another piece of piadina on top then baked both sides in a dry frying pan so the outside was crispy and inside igooey with melted cheese. They were quite large piadinas so half each and a half an apple each to follow was just right amount.
この数日、少し忙しくしていたので、今日はアパートメントでゆっくり過ごしています。
The last few days were quite busy so we are relaxing in the apartment today.
