今日はお友達がお２人カード作りに来られました。お１人は比較的度々（と言ってもいらっしゃれないときは何ヶ月もいらっしゃれないのですが）、もお１人は随分前に１度いらして２度目。

2 friends came to make cards today.  1 of them has come often enough (but not always when invited, as she can get very busy) but the other hadn’t been here for over a year.

度々いらしている方は、以前も作られたことがあるプレゼントを積み重ねたデザインのカードを４枚作られました。写真では濃いめに見えますが、全体に淡い色合いでとても可愛いカードです。結構時間がかかるカードなので途中で「やっぱりこれを選ぶべきではなかった」とぼやいておられましたが（笑）、出来上がりは気に入っておられたようなので良かったです。

The friend who comes often made 4 cards – she’s made them before with different paper for Christmas so she didn’t need any help.  She was sort of regretting she’d started them because they do take a lot of time to make but she liked the end results.

もうお１人は水彩で色をつけるカード。メッセージをヒートエンボスしてから、水彩で色をつけています。久しぶりのカード作りを楽しまれた様子で、良かったです。（１枚上下逆さまです、すみません！）

The other friend made these watercolour cards.  You heat-emboss the sentiments first then watercolour on top – the heat-ebmossed parts resist the paint.  (I unknowingly put one of the cards upside-down….)
