Middle-Eastern Dinner

夫が出張から戻ってきました!シンガポールはそろそろ少し涼しくなっても良い頃なのですが、今日も暑かったです。今日の夕食は、さっぱりしたものにしました。久しぶりの中近東料理。

My husband is back from his business trip, yay!  I would have thought it would be a little cooler by now but it seems to be very hot every day so I cooked something quite light – Middle-Eastern style (some of them at least).

いつものチキンの胸肉(にんにく、レモン汁、オリーブオイルでマリネして、外側をフライパンで焼いてからオーブンで8−10分)、いんげんのトマト煮(いんげん、缶トマト、にんにく、玉ねぎ)、クスクスサラダ(クスクス、トマト、きゅうり、玉ねぎ、赤パプリカ、黄パプリカ、シャンツァイ、ミント、レモン汁)。

Chicken breast (marinaded in galic, lemon juice and olive oil) seared just outside in a frying pan then cooked in the oven for 8-10 minutes.  Green Beans cooked with onion, garlic and some tin tomatoes.  Couscous salad (onion, tomato, cucumber, red & yellow pepper, fresh coriander, fresh mint & lemon juice).

テーブルは昨日と同じ、スリランカで買ったクロスやナプキン。食器はどれも韓国のもの、使いやすくてほとんどこれです。

The table cloth and napkins are the same as yesterday’s.  All the dishes are from Korea.

6月も今日が最後、ふと気がつくと今年も半分過ぎてしまいました。今年は5月、6月はわけのわからないうちに過ぎ去ってしまった感じがします。

Today is the last day in June, so nearly a half year is gone this year.  May and June seem to have just gone in a haze this year for me.  Hope the 2nd half will be better.
