今日は、午後からお友達がお２人カードを作りに来られました。お２人で小さめのシンプルなサンキューカードをたくさん作られました。光の加減で色が違って見えていますが、メッセージの thanks はどれもシルバーでヒートエンボスしています。予定の数が出来上がって何より。こんなにシンプルなカードでも思っているよりも時間がかかるのですよね。例えばグリーン淡いピンクのお花をエンボスしている部分も紙を選んでエンボスする型を選んでエンボスしていますし、レースっぽい部分は専用のパンチで抜いています。１つずつのパーツはすぐにできるものですが、手順がいくつもあるとそれぞれのパーツを作るだけでも案外時間がかかります。
2 friends came to make cards today. They made many of small simple cards together. Because of the way how the light is reflecting they look different colours but the sentiment is all heat embossed with silver. Even though they look very simple, they take much longer than you think. People who never made cards probably think you just cut different types of paper and stick them together, but the lacy parts are punched out with a punch, the strip of embossed paper is embossed with embossing folder.
