Chicken Breast With Wild Mushroom And Bacon Stuffing And Marsala Sauce

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Delia Smith の「Chicken Breast with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce」(チキンの胸肉、ワイルドマッシュループとベーコンの詰め物、マルサラソース)でした。付け合わせは、マッシュポテトと茹でた人参。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was Delia Smith’s “Chicken Breast with Wild Mhsuroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce” with mashed potato and boiled carrot.


The stuffing has some dried porcini as well and Marsala has strong flavour as well so it has quite a gutsy flavour.  It looks very nice and was delicious.  My husband was very happy with the result.


I think the Marsala was what we bought at the airport in Sicily.  It’s very nice to drink as after dinner drink as well.












We couldn’t finish mashed potato so it’ll be made into Japanese potato salad and used for lunch for Potato Salad sandwich.  My husband seems to think it’s a strange filling but it’s one of the standard fillings in Japan for sandwiches.  I love it.  We’ll see what he thinks tomorrow.
