Vegetable Masaman Curry

今日の夕食は、野菜のマサマンカレーにしました。マサマンカレーは一時期よく作っていましたが、数人で集まる時に他に数種類のタイ料理と一緒にいただいていて、マサマンカレーだけ単品で登場させるのは初めてです。今日はいつものチキンのではなく、野菜ばかりにしました。多分野菜が甘いせいだと思いますが、いつもよりお砂糖を減らしましたが少し甘すぎた気がしたので、今度作るときは気をつけてお砂糖を減らします。

Today’s dinner was Vegetable Masaman Curry.  There was time when I made Chicken Masaman curry often but it was as a part of a Thai dinner with a few other dishes.  This is the first time I served just Masaman curry as a meal.  I used only vegetables today rather than usual chicken one and I guess because vegetables are sweet it was a little too sweet.  I did reduce the amount of sugar but I would reduce more next time.

入れたお野菜は、玉ねぎ、ポテト、かぼちゃ、トマト、インゲン。入れるつもりでわざわざ買った厚揚げ、入れ忘れてしまいました(涙)。

The vegetables I used today are onion, small potato, pumpkin, tomato, green beans.  I bought Atsuage (fried tofu) but I totally forgot to use it.
