昨日の夕食は、「Terra Tokyo Italian」に行きました。チャイナタウンの辺りをタクシーで通ったので、旧正月の飾りをパチリ。

We had dinner at “Terra Tokyo Italian” last night.  When we drove near China Town the decoration was very pretty so I took a photo from the taxi.

 

ずっとこちらのお店で飲んでいた赤ワインがリストから消えてしまったので、こちらのワインにしてみましたが、美味しかったです。

The red wine we’ve been drinking in the restaurant isn’t in the wine list any more so we ordered this one.  It was very nice.

最初にアミューズのアーティチョークの冷たいスープ（小さなデミタスカップに２センチほどしか入っていませんが）をいただいた後、わたしの１品目はビーフカルパッチョとプンタレッラ（イタリアの苦味がありしゃきしゃきしたお野菜）。とても美味しかったです。

First we had a very small cold soup of Artichoke in a demitasse cup.  Then my first dish was Beef Carpaccio with puntarella (Italian vegetable).  It was delicious.

 

夫は何かのお魚と茄子とそのほかのお野菜。

My husband’s first dish was fish (Sawara, I think) with aubergine and some other vegetables.

わたしの２皿目は、ホワイトアスパラガス、サンダニエルハム、モレル茸、玉子、サマートリュフ。

My 2nd dish was white asparagus, San Daniele ham, morel mushroom, egg and summer truffles.

夫の２品目は、これもお魚でしたが、何だったのか？上に乗っているのは、セロリアック。

My husband’s 2nd dish was fish again – I cannot remember what fish.  The shredded vegetables on top is celeriac.

夫の３品目は、スカンピとパスタ。

My husband’s 3rd dish was Scampi and pasta.

 

わたしは、幅広のパスタと豚肉とトリュフ。

Mine was wide long pasta with pork and truffle.

 

夫は、４品目のお魚。今日はお魚続きでした。

My husband’s 4th dish was fish again.  Lots of fish yesterday.

わたしは、蕪のスープ。

Mine was Japanese turnip (kabu) soup.

 

メインは２人共、栃木のビーフ。

Then we both had Beef from Tochigi.

 

デザートは、ボンボリーニとストロベリーのあれこれ。

Dessrt was Bombolini with strawberry sorbet and fresh strawberries.

 

最後に、一口のデザート、オレンジムースとブラッドオレンジ。

Then a small orange mousse with blood orange.

 

どれも美味しくいただきました。

We enjoyed everything.

 

ちなみに、コースのお値段が変更されていて、以前は＄１２８、＄１６８、＄２０８となって、その上にセイタシェフの特別おまかせコース＄３０８があり、わたしたちはいつも真ん中の＄１６８をオーダーしていましたが、＄１２８はランチに移り、ディナータイムのコースは＄１６８、＄２０８、＄３０８となっていました。お値段が高くなったのではなく形態を変えたとのことでしたので、わたしたちはこれまでの＄１６８のコースをいただきました。

 

They have changed course menu.  We used to order the middle priced course but the cheapest course moved to the lunch menu and the special course was move to one of the 3 course.  It used to be $128, $168, $208 plus special $308 course, but now $128 is in the lunch menu and for dinner it was $168, $208, $308.  We had $168 course.
